MVMA Board Nominations Due by April 24

The MVMA Nominating Committee has submitted its slate of candidates for positions to be filled on the association's board of directors. The following is a list of open positions for the MVMA Board of Directors (beginning corporate year July 1, 2012) and those members who have been nominated by the Nominating Committee:

President-Elect (One Year Term)
Jan V. Ginsky, VMD, CVPP - Annapolis, MD

Vice President (One Year Term)
Eric Boshoven, DVM, DACVR - Gaithersburg, MD

Secretary/ Treasurer (Two Year Term)
Carvel G. Tiekert, DVM - Abingdon, MD

Board Certified Specialist Representative (Two Year Term)
Richard Burgess, DVM, DACVS - Annapolis, MD

Food Animal Practice Representative (Unexpired term ending 2013)
Charles L. Bray, DVM - Mt. Airy, MD

Equine Practice Representative (Two Year Term)
Virginia K. Gillam, DVM - Phoenix, MD

Government/Corporate/Academic Representative (Two Year Term)
Celeste A. Clements, DVM, DACVIM - Arnold, MD

Independent Nominations are also accepted. If you would like to nominate someone, complete MVMA's Official Independent Nomination Form and return it with the nominee's acceptance letter by April 24, 2012.
