Summer Conference

The Virginia-Maryland
Regional College of Veterinary Medicine had a
significant presence at MVMA’s 2010 Summer Conference.
On the first day of the conference, many representatives
from the school met with MVMA’s board of directors to
discuss the college’s future plans.
Those plans were then shared
with the MVMA membership during the VMRCVM Town Hall
Meeting. Dr. Gerhardt Schurig, Dean, and a panel of six
representatives each gave short presentations. The
presentations were followed by an open forum during
which the panel answered questions from MVMA members and
discussed their concerns. Panelists were:

Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences
Immediately following the Town Hall
Meeting, the VMRCVM Alumni Society sponsored a reception for
those attending the conference.
