MVMA’s 2010 Summer Conference showed increased attendance, top-notch educational sessions and outstanding networking opportunities to bring a successful close to MVMA’s year.

The Clarion Resort in Ocean City, MD hosted the event. After two years in Western Maryland, members seemed happy to be back at the beach.

The conference was held in conjunction with the Northern Virginia and District of Columbia Veterinary Medical Associations. The joint effort fostered increased communication between the organizations and allowed MVMA to expand its reach.

The Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine had a significant presence at the conference. The college hosted an open forum and the Alumni Society hosted a networking reception.
