Experienced Manager: Specialty hospital located in the mid-Atlantic is searching for an experienced manager who is interested in a career path in veterinary hospital management. The position is divided into three major areas and requires proven ability to perform the following: Personnel (20%) - Maintain composure in high-stress situations; - Recruit, interview, hire and supervise support staff as well as serve as the direct authority regarding disciplinary procedures, discharging, and all the legal responsibilities of employment; - Scheduling personnel and coordinate employment benefit programs; - Mediate personnel conflicts, maintain employee motivation and manage the continuing education plan for direct reports. Patient/Client Production (20%) - Promote and support a high-level of service experience; - Function as liaison with clients concerning complaints or problems; - Assist in developing and accomplishing the hospital marketing program; - Oversee administrative equipment maintenance and housekeeping.
