Associate Veterinarian
Job Description
We are looking for the right person to add to our growing
practice. You need to be an experienced small animal
practitioner looking for either a PT or FT position. Our ideal
candidate is compassionate, considerate, gregarious, hands-on,
thoughtful, hard-working and respectful to team members, clients
and patients. Our team is creative with a great work ethic and
our clients are well-educated and expect thorough communication
regarding their pets.
NOTES: US Residents Only.
Additional Salary Information: Dependent upon experience and

Requirements
We are looking for a team player who is respectful of all team
members. We strongly believe that every position in our hospital
is essential to the service we provide. Our doctors, our
technicians, and our receptionists all make great contributions
towards our hospital goals.
Our clients expect our doctors to
perform procedures in their presence. We very rarely take
patients "into the back". Blood draws, nail trims, ear
cleanings, and even cystocentesis and other minor procedures are
performed with the owner present. We have nothing to hide and
feel strongly that it adds to client education, increases the
value of the services we provide, improves client bonding, and
lowers both client and patient anxiety.
We schedule 30 minute appointments
to allow time for good communication and gentle calm handling of
our patients.
Our hospital gross has increased
every year since we opened in 2004. Our owner now has more ideas
than time available to organize and implement these ideas into
the practice. Another veterinarian will give our owner the extra
management time needed for that implementation. We also welcome
a new perspective and a new set of ideas to incorporate from the
doctor we choose to be part of our team.
Community support and interaction is an important part of our
practice and we do expect our new doctor to participate in some
or all of these events with us.
