1. Continuing Education
MVMA offers top quality, convenient, affordable continuing education for veterinarians and technicians. Our summer conference offers three days of education, networking and exhibits in a relaxed environment. Our winter and fall conferences, along with the Mid-Atlantic States Veterinary Clinic in spring, offer the same benefits over shorter periods in easy-to-reach locations. Members may also participate in the Potomac Regional Veterinary Conference during the fall, or look forward to our newly- revamped western getaway and ski meeting.

2. Communication
Stay current on news and events impacting the profession with Maryland Veterinarian, MVMA's quarterly (three electronic, one in- print) newsletter. MVMA's website, www.mdvma.org, features resources for both members of the veterinary profession and consumers. Members have access to additional content and can choose to be listed in the consumer search database.

3. Advocacy
MVMA's representatives in Annapolis monitor legislation impacting the veterinary community, and act in the interest of MVMA members.

4. Networking Opportunities
MVMA offers opportunities throughout the year to interact with your colleagues and exchange ideas. Oftentimes this is the most valuable membership benefit. MVMA members have the added opportunity 24/7 to access their peers' experience through online forums.
