The Maryland Veterinary Foundation

Dr. Robert C. Hammond Scholarship
Awarded annually to a Maryland resident
who has completed the third year at the Virginia-Maryland Regional
College of Veterinary Medicine.
Ray Thompson Communication
Scholarship
$1,200 awarded annually to a student at
the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. The
recipient must be a Maryland resident and will be the liaison
between the MVMA and the student chapter of the Veterinary Medical
Association at VMRCVM.
MVMA Past President's Scholarship
Presented from contributions made by
MVMA's past presidents. Recipients must be Maryland residents
enrolled at any college of veterinary medicine in the United States.
Dr. Victor I. Sorgen Veterinary
Technology Scholarship
Presented annually. Pays the tuition of
a student enrolled in the Veterinary Technology program at the
Community College of Baltimore County in Essex.
Jane Nusz Foy Memorial Scholarship
$1,000 awarded annually to a student who
resides in Maryland and is enrolled at any college of veterinary
medicine in the United States. The award is based on financial need.
Dr. Harry L. Schultz Jr. Scholarship
Awarded annually to a student who is a
Maryland resident and is enrolled at any college of veterinary
medicine in the United States. Preference is given to residents of
Baltimore City or Baltimore County.
Dr. David Bogash Memorial Award
Awarded annually to provide books,
instruments or cash to a student at the Maryland Virginia Regional
College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Charles G. Ziegler Memorial
Scholarship
$1,000 awarded annually to a student at
any college of veterinary medicine in the United States who was a
Maryland resident at the time of acceptance to veterinary school.
The scholarship is awarded based on financial need. Preference is
given to residents of Baltimore City or Baltimore County.
MVMA Auxiliary Scholarships
One or more scholarships awarded
annually to students at any college of veterinary medicine in the
United States who are legal residents of the State of Maryland.
Preference is given to married students.
